Chip on the shoulder. – Idiom

Definition: the act of holding a grudge or grievance that readily provokes disputation, or it can also mean a person thinking too much of oneself (often without the credentials) or feeling entitled.

At what point does a chip become a chunk? A single chip could be a chunk to one person and a microchip to another. Only you know how many chips make a chunk!

Cheers!
